Petit Vour Vegan Beauty Box December 2016 Review
Happy Petit Vour Unboxing Day! I’m loving all the holiday themed beauty boxes. 🙂 If you’re new to Petit Vour, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes loaded with samples (including full-sized ones) from fancy, vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic brands. You can peep all my previous PV box reviews here. This goodie box is only $15 a month (super duper good deal, especially considering this month’s box is valued at $35) and includes free shipping in the U.S. ($23 for Canada).
You’ll also be able to earn points in their shop with every purchase, review, and friend rec.
December’s Petit Vour Beauty Box included:
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon in Zuma, $22 – This beautiful cherry red has got me like *where’s the frickin’ heart eyes emoji for wordpress?* This is a holiday shade fo’ sho, and it’s creamy, lightweight, mega comfortable to wear, and has a lil’ bit of shine. Gotta love that it’s loaded with plant-derived phyto-pigments to boot!
Shamanuti Activated Charcoal Cleanser, $10 – I deem activated charcoal as the “it” beauty ingredient of 2016. Everyone’s putting it in evvvverything! No complaints here, I swear by it. I actually haven’t dug into this cleanser (my skin is hella dry, so I’ve been sticking to cream cleansers and oils), but it’s marketed as a gentle, non-foaming gel cleanser that neutralizes skin acidity and absorbs impurities – sounds like a perfect formula for oily and acne-prone skin.
Aromatherapy Associates Revive Morning Bath and Shower Oil sample – What a cute, lil’ *glass* bottle! This oil is a blend of grapefruit, rosemary, and juniper essential oils (smells heavenly), and you’re supposed to massage a capful onto your body, cup your hands, bring ’em to your face and inhale deeply as you’re about to shower. It definitely has an invigorating, lively, and cheery scent. Looking forward to trying this out.
OILLE Hair Serum Volumizing Intelligence samples – Ha, you guys know me and hair products… they never get used because I wash my hair like twice a year, lol (pssst – that’s my beauty secret for when people ask me how I keep my pink hair so vibrant). 😉 This sounds like a great de-frizzing and/or deep conditioning formula. It’s all organic and is packed with a wonderful blend of nutrient dense beauty oils.
* = PV faves
Overall impression: Lots of value in this month’s box – $35 worth of goodies for $15 (with free shipping, yassss!). Box fave is definitely the Juice Beauty lip crayon (worth the entire PV box and then some). I’m super excited to try the bath/shower oil and activated charcoal cleanser! Aside from Juice Beauty, these were all new-to-me brands, which I find really exciting.
If you like what you see, you should consider hooking yourself up with a Petit Vour subscription! Also, you can buy products you love directly from PV’s online store. Customers (even non-subscribers) receive 20% back in PV Points with every shop purchase. It’s like a constant 20% discount and when you combine that with the free shipping on all orders $50+… it’s an insane deal. xx
